Biography:

Tamara Braun was born on April 18, 1971 in Evanston, Illinois, United States. She attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she majored in psychology. She also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for a summer course. In 1997, she made her debut in an episode of the TV series The Sentinel.

The following year, she had her first movie role in Fallen Arches. Ultimately, she landed her first starring role on TV, as Carly Corinthos on the soap opera General Hospital. She simultaneously had guest appearances on such TV shows as Freddie, House, and Cold Case, among others. She later landed the part of Ava Vitali on Without a Trace. She also became known for her role as Reese Williams on All My Children.
