Tamlyn Tomita is a Japanese-American actress. Her acting career started in the 1980s. She made her film debut in The Karate Kid Part II. She also starred as Lily in the soap opera The Joy Luck Club. In the ’90s, she became more prolific with roles in the movies Come See the Paradise, The Joy Luck Club, and Picture Bride. During this period, she also starred as Dr. Kimberly Shiroma in the television series The Burning Zone. In the 2000s, she had more notable roles on the small screen, such as Tracy Manetti in JAG, Jenny Dodge in 24, Kim Anderson in Eureka, and as Giselle in General Hospital. She went on to have supporting roles in the films The Day After Tomorrow and The Eye. More recently, she played Noshiko Yukimura in Teen Wolf. She also currently stars in The Good Doctor.
