Biography:

Tamzin Merchant was born on March 4, 1987 in Sussex, England, United Kingdom. In 2005, she made her big screen debut with her role as Georgiana Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

She followed this with appearances in the television films My Family and Other Animals, The Good Housekeeping Guide and Casualty 1906.

She gained wider recognition after being cast as Catherine Howard in the series The Tudors. That same year, she landed the role of Mary Rivers in the film Jane Eyre.

Other television work includes DCI Banks, Red Faction: Origins and “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
