Ted Danson is an American actor. His Hollywood career started in the 1970s. He made his debut on the show Somerset. In the 1980s up to early ’90s, he became known for his role as Sam Malone on the sitcom Cheers. He next became prominent for playing the lead on the TV series Becker. He later became known for his roles as Arthur Frobisher on Damages and George Christopher on Bored to Death. In the 2010s, he was best known for his role as Director D.B. Russell on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After the series ended, he starred as Sheriff Hank Larsson on Fargo. As of 2016, he stars as Michael on the show The Good Place.
