Biography:

Teri Polo was born on June 1, 1969 in Dover, Delaware, US. She studied ballet starting when she was five and continued doing so for 13 years. She then studied at the New York’s School of American Ballet. Her venture into acting began when she won in a modeling contest. She was 17 when she pursued an acting career. She made her TV debut in the ’80s. Her first appearance was on the soap opera Loving. Her first notable acting stint was on TV 101.

From 1994 to 1995, she had a remarkable role on the TV series Northern Exposure. Also around the same time, she starred on several TV movies. She went on to have recurring roles on Felicity, Sports Night, and Brimstone. Her break on the big screen happened in 2000 when she starred as Pam in Meet the Parents. She went on to reprise her role in Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers. Her most recent movies are Authors Anonymous and Outlaws and Angels.
