Biography:
Thandie Newton was born on November 6, 1972 in London, England. Her first film appearance was as Thandiwe Adjewa in Flirting. She followed this with her role as Rachael Stevens in The Young Americans.
In 2000, she shot to fame after being cast as Nyah Nordoff-Hall in Mission: Impossible II. She went on to star as Christine in the Academy-Award-winning film Crash, for which she earned a BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
She has since starred in other major films including The Pursuit of Happyness, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, 2012, Vanishing on 7th Street and many others.
