Thorsten Kaye is an American actor. He started his acting career in the early 1990s. He debuted in the 1991 TV movie Deadly Desire. He next starred in the TV film Nothing Lasts Forever. Kaye became further known after landing the role of Patrick Thornhart in the soap opera One Life to Live, which he starred in from 1995 to 1997. During this period, he made his film debut in the movie The Silencers.

He next had one-time roles in Sliders, Air America, and Falcone. In the 2000s, he gained wider recognition for starring as Dr. Ian Thornhart in the soap opera Port Charles. From 2004 to 2011, he starred as Zach Slater in All My Children. After this, he starred as Nick Felder in musical drama series Smash.
