Biography:
Tom Cullen was born on 17 July 1985 in Aberystwyth, Wales. He attended Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. There, he studied acting and graduated in 2009. He later trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2006, he made his professional acting debut in the movie Cravings. He next starred in the short film Watch Me. In 2011, he gained significant attention for starring in the movie Weekend.
For his performance here, he won the British Independent Film Award for Best Newcomer. He next starred on the miniseries World Without End. He gained wider recognition for playing the role of Anthony Foyle on Downtown Abbey. He has also starred in the films The Last Days on Mars, Desert Dancer, The Other Half, and Mine. This year, he will star on the TV series Knightfall. He also played Guy Fawkes on the British program Gunpowder.
