Biography:

Tom Hardy was born on September 15, 1977 in Hammersmith, London, England, UK. He attended Richmond Drama School, and later studied at the Drama Centre London.

He was taken out early from the Drama Centre London in 2001 after winning the role of Private John Janovec in the award-winning HBO miniseries Band of Brothers. In the same year, he made his film debut in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down.

In 2010, he gained worldwide fame for his role as Eames in Christopher Nolan’s Inception, for which he won the BAFTA Rising Star Award and the Saturn Award for Best Breakthrough Actor.
