Biography:
Tom Holland was born on 1 June 1996 in Kingston upon Thames, London, England. He enrolled at The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. In 2010, he got his first work with a voice role in the animated film Arrietty. He next played Lucas Bennett in the acclaimed film The Impossible, where his performance was noticed. In 2015, he made his first television role as Gregory Cromwell on the British series Wolf Hall.
That same year, he played Thomas Nickerson in the movie In the Heart of the Sea. He rose to mainstream fame after securing the role of Peter Parker / Spider-Man, playing it first in Captain America: Civil War. He next starred in the films Edge of Winter, The Lost City of Z, and Pilgrimage. In 2017, he starred as the titular role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, reprising it the following year in Avengers: Infinity War. He has also portrayed Samuel Insull in the movie The Current War.
