Biography:
Tom Payne was born on 21 December 1982 in Chelmsford, Essex, England. He got his training from the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2005, he made his professional acting start when he debuted on the TV show Casualty. His first notable role on the small screen was as Brett Aspinall in Waterloo Road. He next made his cinematic debut in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day.
He later acted in the TV movies He Kills Coppers and Best: His Mother’s Son. His acting career flourished in the 2010s where he also ventured into US television. During this period, he played recurring character Leon Micheaux on the American series Luck. In 2016, he started playing the role of Paul “Jesus” Rovia in The Walking Dead, garnering him greater success as a television actor.
