Biography:
Tom Welling was born on April 26, 1977 in Putnam Valley, New York, USA. Before becoming an actor, he first worked as a model after being discovered by a catalog camera scout while working as a construction worker. He then started acting in the early 2000s, his first gig being the recurring role of Rob Meltzer in Judging Amy.
Around the same time, he got the lead role of Clark Kent in Smallville, which he has since become known for, having played the part from 2001 to 2011. As a movie star, he made his debut in the 2003 comedy feature Cheaper by the Dozen as Charlie Baker, which he reprised in 2005’s Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Other films he has starred in are The Fog, Parkland, and Draft Day.
