Biography:

Trini Alvarado was born on January 10, 1967 in New York City, New York, United States. She studied at the Professional Children’s School and also attended Fordham University.

In 1979, she made her big screen debut in the film Rich Kids, playing the role of Franny Philips. She then appeared in several television shows such as ABC Afterschool Specials, American Playhouse, and many others.

She returned to the big screen with her role as Irene Soffel in the 1984 film Mrs. Soffel. She became known for her portrayal of Meg March in the 1994 film Little Women and of Lucy Lynskey in The Frighteners.
