Trini Alvarado is an American actress. She started her Hollywood career in the 1970s. During her beginnings, she mostly acted in short films. She ultimately made her big screen debut in the 1979 film Rich Kids. At the same time, she made her television debut on ABC Afterschool Special. In the 1980s, she had roles in the movies Times Square, Mrs. Soffel, and Satisfaction. In the ’90s, she had acting roles in the feature films Stella, American Friends, and The Babe. She became further known when she played Meg March in the 1994 film Little Women. She next played Dr. Lucy Lynskey in the movie The Frighteners. In the 2000s, she had a couple of guest roles on television, most notably as Samantha Loeb on Fringe.
