Biography:

Tristin Mays was born on June 10, 1990 in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.. She began her career as a child, appearing in the 1996 TV movie Harambee!. The following year, she became known for her regular role on the children’s series Gullah Gullah Island. She then had a hiatus for 3-4 years. She returned on TV in the 2000s with a role on Alias.

Afterwards, she only had a few roles on TV, a guest role on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide in Everybody Hates Chris. She then starred on the web series Private. In the beginning of the 2010s, she had recurring roles on Zeke and Luther and Big Time Rush. She also starred in the movie Thunderstruck. TV viewers know her now as Sarah Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries.
