Tyler Blackburn was born on October 12, 1986 in Burbank, California, U.S. He made his television debut in the series Unfabulous in 2006. That sane year, he starred in the short film The Doers of Coming Deeds.

In 2008, he was cast in a minor role in the movie Next of Kin. On television, he made guest appearances in various TV series such as Cold Case, Days of our Lives, and Gigantic.

He then gained wider fame after being cast as Caleb Rivers in Pretty Little Liars in 2011. He went on to reprise his character as the lead role in the spin-off series Ravenswood.
