Tyler Posey was born on October 18, 1991 in Santa Monica, California, USA. He made his film debut with the 2002 movie Collateral Damage, playing the role of Mauro.

That same year, he also made his television debut in an episode of Without a Trace. He went on to appear in other television shows such as Into the West, Smallville, and Brothers & Sisters.

He also played supporting roles in such films as Maid in Manhattan, Legendary, White Frog, and Scary Movie 5. In 2011, he landed the lead role, playing Scott McCall in the MTV series Teen Wolf.
