Biography:

Tyra Banks was born on December 4, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 16, she was signed by L.A. Models, later switching to Elite Model Management.

She appeared on the covers of such magazines as Elle, Teen Vogue and Vogue. She has also walked the runways for Valentino, Chanel and Fendi, among others.

She broke into television in the fourth season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She went on to start her own production company, Bankable Productions, which produced The Tyra Banks Show, America’s Next Top Model and the 2008 film The Clique.
