Ulrich Thomsen is a Danish actor and filmmaker. He’s been acting since the early 1990s. He had his breakthrough in his native Denmark when he starred in the 1996 film De største helte. His role won him the Robert Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. His performance in the Danish film Festen later earned him the Robert Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In 1999, he made his international debut when he appeared in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. In the 2000s, he starred in several Danish films, as well as in some Hollywood movies, including Killing Me Softly, The Weight of Water, and Hitman. More recently, he played Alexander Kirk / Konstantin Rostov in the American series The Blacklist.
