Biography:

Una Healy was born on October 10, 1981 in Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland. She attended Mary Immaculate College where she first studied nursing and later switching to primary teaching. She finally decided to pursue her passion for music when she was 23.

In 2007, she moved to London to earn further exposure and experience where she later landed a part in the girl group The Saturdays. Their first single, “If This Is Love”, was released in July 2008 where it peaked at No. 8 on the UK Single Charts.

Their second single, “Up”, peaked at No. 5 in the UK. In 2008, they released their first studio album, Chasing Lights, debuting at No. 9.
