Biography:

Urvashi Dholakia was born on July 9, 1978 in India. She began her career as a child actress appearing in such television serial as Waqt Ki Raftar. She then made her first major film appearance with the 1993 feature Dekh Bhai Dekh.

In 2000, she was cast as Mansi Sharma in Shaktimaan. That same year, she became known for her role in the television serial Zamana Badal Gaya. She has since appeared in other serials like Ghar Ek Mandir and Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii.

She went on to receive further fame after playing the role of Komolika Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, for which she was nominated for an Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Negative Role.
