Biography:

Valene Kane was born on 30 January 1987 in Newry, UK. She joined the National Youth Theatre when she was 15. She then moved to London when she was 18 to study at the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2010, she made her film debut in The Fading Light. She later appeared in more films, such as in War Games, Jump, and ’71.

Later in 2013, she gained attention for her role as Rose Stagg in the television series The Fall, which she played until 2016. After this, she starred as Olivia Collins in the comedy series The Other Guy. She went on to have performances in the films Victor Frankenstein and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In 2019, she played Nicola Gough in Prime Video’s Hanna and Jacqueline Robinson in Sky Atlantic’s Gangs of London.
