Biography:

Vanessa Kirby was born on 1988 in London, England. She attended Exeter University where she studied English. She then met theatre director David Thacker who hired her for three starring roles in the productions of All My Sons, Ghosts, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

She starred as Isabella in Women Beware Women by Thomas Middleton at the National Theatre afterwards. In 2011, she made her television debut as Ruth Elms in the BBC series The Hour.

She continued to find success on television after she was cast as Estella in the television serial Great Expectations, as well as landing the role of Alice Tanner for the miniseries Labyrinth.
