Biography:

Vella Lovell was born on September 13, 1985 in New Mexico, USA. She attended Juilliard in New York where she had finished her degree. Early in her career she appeared in a few short films. She was then cast for the role of Heather Davis in what would become the hit The CW show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The series aired between 2015 and 2019.

At the same time, she guest-starred in Younger and Girls. In 2017, she had performances in the films The Big Sick and Literally, Right Before Aaron. Venturing into voice acting, she starred as Mermista in the animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She later starred as Wendy in the film The Christmas Chronicles. As of 2021, she stars as Mikaela Shaw in the new series Mr. Mayor.
