Vicky Kaushal is an Indian actor. He began his career as an assistant director working for the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur. His first acting role was in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana that same year. After starring in the 2015 film Bombay Velvet, he played his first lead in Masaan, which earned him mainstream recognition in India. His performance here won him Best Male Debut awards. He next starred in the feature Raman Raghav 2.0. His supporting roles in the 2018 Hindi films Raazi and Sanju gained him wider prominence. His latest roles were in the movies Uri: The Surgical Strike and Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship.
