Biography:
Victoria Smurfit was born on 31 March 1974 in Dublin, Ireland. She had theater studies when she was younger and went on to attend Bristol Old Vic theatre school. In 1995, she made her acting debut on the screen with the film The Run of the Country. She later made her television debut on Ivanhoe, followed by a guest appearance on Berkeley Square. Her first notable role on the small screen was as Orla O’Connell on Ballykissangel.
In 2000, she had roles in the films The Wedding Tackle and The Beach. That same year, she starred as Dr. Helen Ferryhough on the show North Square. She also played recurring character Jane Fitzpatrick on Cold Feet. She later had supporting roles in the feature films About a Boy and Bulletproof Monk. In 2003, she starred as Roisin Connor on the miniseries Trial & Retribution. From 2014 to 2018, she portrayed Cruella De Vil on the American series Once Upon a Time.
