Vinette Robinson is an English actress. She started her TV career in the 1990s, debuting in an episode of The Cops. Later in 2000, she made her first movie role in This Is Personal: The Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper. The rest of the decade saw her performing in the films Between the Sheets, Imagine Me & You, The Passion, and Hope Springs. After this, Robinson played Helen Hopewell in the TV series Waterloo Road. In the 2010s, she became known for her role as Sgt. Sally Donovan in Sherlock Holmes. She went on to have roles in the films The A Word, Morgan, and Frankie.
