Waris Ahluwalia is a Sikh American designer and actor. His company, House of Waris, has worked with several designers and artists since its inception. As an actor, he began his career in 2004. His first movie role was as Vikram Ray in Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. He later appeared in the Spike Lee feature film Inside Man. after this, he collaborated with Wes Anderson again in The Darjeeling Limited. Later in 2009, he played the role of Hugo Pepper in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead. In the 2010s, he had performances in the films I Am Love, Missed Connections, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Beeba Boys. In 2018, he appeared as himself in the film Ocean’s 8.
