Biography:
Yael Stone was born on March 6, 1985 in Sydney, Australia. She made her acting debut in 1999 when she was in her teens in the Australia comedy movie Me Myself I. A few years later, she acted in the miniseries The Farm. She then took a long break from professional acting, only returning in 2007 with her role as Ann-Marie in All Saints. Around the same time, she played Stacey in the Australian film West.
She gained further recognition in her native country for her role as Linda in the drama series Spirited, portraying the character from 2010 to 2011. She then got her big break as a television actress after being cast for the role of Lorna in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, which she began playing in 2013. The success of the series proved to be vital in her achieving mainstream recognition.
