Biography:

Yunjin Kim was born on November 7, 1973 in Seoul, South Korea. She immigrated to the US with her family at the age of 10.

She studied drama at the London Academy of Performing Arts, and later earned her BFA degree in drama at Boston University.

After minor roles in some television shows in the US, she decided to return to Korea, where she made her breakthrough in the film Shiri.

In 2004, she landed the role of Sun in the critically acclaimed television series Lost. As of 2013, she stars as Karen Kim in the ABC drama series Mistresses.
