Zach Cregger was born on March 1, 1981 in Arlington, Virginia, United States. He performed in many comedy groups before relocating to New York to further his career. In 1998, he made his television debut in an episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. In 2004, he was producer on the show Uncle Morty’s Dub Shack. He also worked on the show The Whitest Kids U’ Know.

In the 2010s, he joined the main cast of the shows Friends with Benefits and Guys with Kids. He next had a recurring role on the show About a Boy. As of 2016, he stars as Owen on the show Wrecked. In the films, he had roles in College, Miss March, and Date and Switch.
