Biography:
Zachary Levi was born on September 29, 1980 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, U.S. At the age of six, he started acting in theatre and went on to perform lead roles in regional productions of Grease, Oliver and The Wizard of Oz at the Ojai Art Center.
He made his first credited screen appearance in the 2002 TV movie Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie. That same year, he landed the role of Kipp Steadman in the series Less Than Perfect.
His big break on television came in 2007 after being cast as the title role in the series Chuck, for which he gained several awards and nominations, including the Teen Choice Award Choice TV Actor: Action.
