Zack de la Rocha is an American musician. In the late 1980s, he fronted the hardcore punk band Inside Out, which had an underground national following during this period. The band released one song called No Spiritual Surrender before disbanding in 1990. Meeting Tom Morello, they formed the band Rage Against the Machine and released their debut album in 1992. The album was a huge critical and commercial success, cementing the band’s fame. The album’s lead single “Killing in the Name” was also widely prominent. They have since released the albums Evil Empire, Live & Rare, The Battle of Los Angeles, and Renegades.
