Biography:

Zoë Bell was born on November 17, 1978 in Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand. She joined competitive gymnastics at an early age, and began studying Taekwon-Do when she was 15.

Her stunt career started in 1992, and her first stunt was in the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street, where she jumped out of a car.

Her most notable stunt work includes doubling for Lucy Lawless in Xena: Warrior Princess and for Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. As an actress, she has appeared in such films as Double Dare, Poseidon, Whip It, Grindhouse, and Django Unchained.
