Biography:

Zoie Palmer was born on October 28, 1977 in Camborne, UK. She completed her BFA from the York University in Toronto, Canada. Even during her teens, she was already acting in the local theater. She made her debut on Canadian television with the TV series Odyssey 5. She next appeared in the TV film The Scream Team. Her first significant role came in 2006 with Instant Star, a Canadian series.

From 2008 to 2009, she starred on another Canadian program The Guard. It was, however, her role as Dr. Lauren Lewis on the popular Canadian show Lost Girl that she achieved mainstream recognition. She played the part from 2010 to 2015. Simultaneously, she also appeared in the movies Devil, Cold Blooded, and Sex After Kids. As of 2015, she stars on the Canadian TV series Dark Matter as The Android.
