Biography:

Zulay Henao was born on May 29, 1979 in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. She emigrated to New Jersey with her family. Following her high school graduation, she served with the US Army for three years. Afterwards, she attended New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts to have her acting training. In 2005, she made her debut in the movie Clearview.

She next appeared in the films Illegal Tender, Feel the Noise, Grizzly Park, and many others. She also starred in the film S. Darko. In the 2010s, she became more prolific as a film actress. During this time she appeared in the films Takers, Boy Wonder, Hostel: Part III, and The Single Moms Club. In 2013, she starred on the TV series Love Thy Neighbor. She next joined the main cast of If Loving You Is Wrong.
